As for the reasonable explanation, G. It's not what I'd call reasonable - but there is an explanation.

Earlier in the evening, JJJ's g/f said she was cold. So, I thought to myself "WE CAN'T HAVE THE LADY BEING COLD!" so I asked the waiter dude to turn on the braizier/heater thing for us. As it warmed, BrownTown thought it would be a good idea to stand under it. Stood there for a bit to get warm and then about 20 seconds later we said "DUDE YOU ARE SMOULDERING!". Sure enough, his hair was close enough to start burning.

Not convinced that he himself had burning hair, he went to replicate the behaviour, by standing under it again, and having someone video it.

You now know as much as we do. Told you it wasn't reasonable.
